Oliver Cromwell.

Cromwell is an important, and controversial, figure in the history of Great Briton … when the BBC ran a poll of the 100 Greatest Britons in 2002 he was ranked in the top 10.  Tim’s talk will cover his family background, religious convictions, military successes and advancement, his time as Lord Protector, and the extraordinary story of what happened to his head!
