Description
The Battle of Waterloo, which took place in Belgium on June 18, 1815, marked the final defeat of Napoleon Bonaparte, who conquered much of Europe in the early 19th century.
You are accompanied by a tour leader who will guide you through these battlefields and ensure that your tour runs smoothly.

Itinerary
Day 1
Meet at Ashford International station. Coach to Waterloo.
Day 2
Full day guided tour of the Battle of Waterloo including Hougomont Farm.
Day 3
Coach to Bruges. Guided tour of the history of Bruges along the waterways. Stay at the Grand Hotel Casselbergh. This hotel housed the future Charles II of England during his exile in the 1650s: an elegant stone plaque on an outside corner commemorates the founding of the Grenadier Guards here in 1656.
Day 4
Return home after lunch.
