Description
The Germans having occupied a part of Britain, wanted for to keep it mainly for propaganda purposes. The German turned the Channel Islands into a fortress and this tour will explore some of the many tunnels and forts in Jersey.
The date is a bespoke tour.
The cost – includes breakfast, hotel accommodation, flights, coach, museums and guide, but not food and drinks. – is £1,250 per person. Please note that this is the cost of a single occupancy in a single room as we wish to be open with the all-inclusive costs. A discount of 10% is available for bookings with two people sharing a room.

Itinerary
Day 1
Catch plane from Southampton to Jersey. Picked up from the airport by coach
An all-day guided tour of the German World War 2 fortifications, tunnels and command posts on Jersey, including lunch.
Book into Hotel
Dinner at a local restaurant
Day 2
Coach to Mont Orgueil Castle.
One of the finest examples of a medieval fortress in existence, Mont Orgueil has witnessed many of the key events that have shaped Jersey’s history.
Lunch.
Afternoon visit La Hougue Bie. The site features one of Europe’s finest passage graves where you can learn about life in Jersey’s Neolithic community 6,000 years ago.
Return to Hotel.
Dinner at a local restaurant
Day 3
Catch the plane back to Southampton.
