Andrew is a retired RAF wing commander; who served in the Intelligence Branch for 26 years until 2011, seeing operational service in Northern Ireland, Bosnia and Iraq. Since retiring from the RAF, he has worked as a battlefield guide for a number of companies – last year it was my pleasure and honour to guide the surviving veterans of the Berlin Airlift in Berlin for the 75th anniversary of that great operation. Andrew hold’s Badge no. 37 from the Guild of Battlefield Guides, and has had two books published, both biographies of airmen of the two world wars. From 2007-09, he was the RAF’s policy and budget holder for RAF staff rides, and trained serving personnel as staff ride facilitators.
